How to Write an Article, Assignment or Report Instantly: Writing Tips

By saleheensblog

Write an assignment/article/report or hub in 30 minutes.

Suppose you have all the information on hand for your assignment or report topic but you have a very little time to write it down.  Say for example, you have given a challenge to write an article in 30 minutes that contains at least 400 words. What should you do? Well, here I will try to write a hub in 30 minutes on how to write a hub, assignment or report in 30 minutes.

[5 minutes gone]

Preparation:

First you should get mentally ready for the challenge. It’s not easy to write instantly. It’s become harder when you are given freedom to write on anything you wish as choosing a topic to write on becomes the first challenge then. Here you have to be steady and tricky. Don’t try to write on something you don’t know well or on something that should be researched well before you write. So, my suggestion is, write on something that you know very well, that you love to write and that you are experienced with. My best choice is to write on something that you have experienced. Take a couple of minutes to think and choose your topic and set you mind to write on that.

Start Writing

Write your content in easy flowing language. Jargon free language and use of easy words will speed up your writing and don’t interrupt you again and again when you are writing. Provide information in short but make sure you are right on the track. Don’t try to laden you article with too much information; it may result into a half done work. So be specific, straight forward with information, less descriptive yet informative.

[18 minutes over]

Be Steady

Don’t keep writing blindly. After writing every paragraph get back and revise what you have written. When you are in a rush you are more likely to make mistakes that will result into a substandard article. So, be steady and focused. Try to make thing correct in first chance.

Don’t stick on the clock

Don’t watch the clock every minute. It will increase your nervousness and hamper your speed. So, keep an eye on the clock but don’t stick on it. After completing every phase of your article check the time and revise your plan if needed.

[5 minutes left]

Finish writing keeping some times on hand

Finish writing keeping few minutes in hand even if you need to sacrifice some of your information. At least take few minutes to recheck if you have done everything right or not. When you are sure you have done things right be proud on your success and publish your article.

[Still few minutes in hand]

Yes, I have done it

Well, I have finished my hub within 30 minutes. I hope I did well. Thanks to cagsil for arranging this great challenge. Congrats to everyone participated the challenge and completed their article within 30 minutes.

Excellent hub Saleheen and job well done my friend!

You shared some very useful advice and wrote and presented it very clearly and cleanly. I guess going against the clock and a little bit of pressure can push us to achieve things that we wouldn't normally believe we can do until we try!

Cheers for sharing this inspiring hub.

Hi, well done on an informative and useful hub. When I first started writing I thought it impossible to write an article in that time frame but now on familiar topics, I can write articles very quickly. One tip I got from 'The Challenge 2010' was to keep writing and not to even look at the article to edit it or correct mistakes until the following day so that a)you do not lose your flow and b)you look at the work with fresh eyes and are more likely to spot mistakes. I must admit though that I find it hard to not correct my work as I go as you suggest!
